स महात्मा मुहूर्तेन सर्वतः सलिलावृतः।।5.1.103।। दर्शयामास शृङ्गाणि सागरेण नियोजितः। आदित्योदयसङ्काशैरालिखद्भिरिवाम्बरम्। शातकुम्भमयैः शृङ्गैः सकिन्नरमहोरगैः।।5.1.104।।
sa mahātmā muhūrtena sarvataḥ salilāvṛtaḥ..5.1.103.. darśayāmāsa śṛṅgāṇi sāgareṇa niyojitaḥ. ādityodayasaṅkāśairālikhadbhirivāmbaram. śātakumbhamayaiḥ śṛṅgaiḥ sakinnaramahoragaiḥ..5.1.104..
English Translation
"At the instance of Varuna, (the presiding deity of the ocean) the lofty mountain appeared, projecting its peaks, hitherto submerged in the water. The golden peaks inhabited by nagas and kinnaras resemmbled the rising Sun as though scraping the sky in a moment."
