सञ्जय उवाच |
एवमुक्त्वार्जुनः सङ्ख्ये रथोपस्थ उपाविशत् |
विसृज्य सशरं चापं शोकसंविग्नमानसः ||१-४७||
sañjaya uvāca .
evamuktvārjunaḥ saṅkhye rathopastha upāviśat .
visṛjya saśaraṃ cāpaṃ śokasaṃvignamānasaḥ ||1-47||
Hindi Translation
।।1.47।।संजय ने कहा -- रणभूमि (संख्ये) में शोक से उद्विग्न मनवाला अर्जुन इस प्रकार कहकर बाणसहित धनुष को त्याग कर रथ के पिछले भाग में बैठ गया।
English Translation
"1.47. Sanjaya said Having thus spoken in the midst of the battlefield, Arjuna,
casting away his bow and arrow, sat down on the seat of the chariot with
his mind overwhelmed with sorrow."
